LEAH KUDEL

Leah Kudel’s journey began in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in a home filled with an abundance of unique objects she transformed into creative materials. Leah spent hours designing, creating, and inventing with anything and everything. Achieving a Bachelor of Art Education, University of Alberta (2002) and a Bachelor of Fine Art in Glass, Alberta College of Art and Design (2015), Leah has now worked as an artist in various studios across the USA, New Zealand, Italy, Czech Republic, Indonesia, Denmark, United Arab Emirates, Croatia and is currently based in Edmonton, Canada.

Recognition of Leah’s dedication and passion for glass art is acknowledged by being the recipient of multiple project grants and scholarships. She was recently a finalist in the international ‘Young Glass 2017’ contemporary glass art competition and a participant in S12 Gallery’s ‘Young and Loving’ international up and coming glass exhibition. Leah’s creations have been included in exhibits in Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the United Kingdom, the USA, Italy, and New Zealand.
